Welcome to my practice! I am a Registered Kinesiologist (BCAK/CKA) dedicated to serving the Lower Mainland, BC. My expertise lies in active rehabilitation, a dynamic approach to treatment aimed at restoring physical functions such as walking, lifting, and sports performance that may have been compromised due to injury or other causes.
My treatment plans encompass therapeutic exercise, stretching, postural correction, heat therapy, nutritional counseling, and manual muscle manipulation. By tailoring these techniques to your unique needs, I strive to facilitate optimal recovery and enhance your overall well-being.
I am proud to collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, RMTs, dietitians, and more, within multidisciplinary care centres across BC. This collaborative approach ensures that you receive holistic and integrated care for the best possible outcomes.
I firmly believe that reducing pain and enhancing patient quality of life are important markers of successful treatment. When designing recovery programs, I will always take your preferences into account to deliver treatment that brings you greater satisfaction with your lifestyle.
Outside of my professional practice, I am passionate about sports, especially snowboarding, pickleball, badminton, and swimming (including over five years of experience as a swim instructor). I have a deep understanding of the training techniques and common injuries associated with these activities, gained through both my personal experience and my work with clients. Additionally, I engage in strength conditioning, vinyasa yoga, and hiking to maintain my fitness and well-being.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about me, I look forward to helping you achieve your rehabilitation goals and supporting you on your journey to better health.
